It's To Write Love On Her Arms Day.
And it's a concept that is very near to my heart.
I attend high school every day, and I am proud to say that I've stopped checking people's wrists for scars. I got hit pretty hard a while back, and I lost my entire support system. All my old friends stopped speaking to me and it put me in a pretty dark place. They cut, and I figured if I started, they would start talking to me again. It sounds a little crazy, I know. Luckily, I never started. Shortly, I made new friends. A best friend. That concept is new to me. An actual best friend that brings me chocolate milkshakes when I'm feeling bad. I like that idea. I'm happy to say that I've healed quite a bit. The whole experience aged me a bit. But I"m moving on. Rescue IS possible. All it takes is one person to be there for you. Love is the Movement. And it will fix us in time.
